State 2 govt announces Rs 300,000 relief amount each to flood victim families

JANAKPUR, July 13: The government of State 2 has announced the relief amount of Rs 300, 000 each to the family of those killed in flood and landslides in the state.

JANAKPUR, July 13: The government of State 2 has announced the relief amount of Rs 300, 000 each to the family of those killed in flood and landslides in the state.


An emergency cabinet meeting of the state held at the residence of chief minister on Saturday has also decided to deposit Rs one million each to the district disaster management committee of each district of the state, according to Gyanendra Kumar Yadav, spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law.

Likewise, the meeting has urged the federal government to deploy a sufficient number of security personnel in rescue and relief operations.  


Similarly, issuing a separate press statement, Samajbadi Party and Rastriya Janata Party have urged its party leaders and cadres to involve in rescue and relief operations immediately in view of the havoc wreaked by flood-triggered incidents that occurred over the last few days across the country.
