State 1 CM Rai offers best wishes on Maghe Sankranti

BIRATNAGAR, Jan 15: Chief Minister of State 1 Sherdhan Rai has extended best wishes to all Nepalis living home and abroad on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti and Maghi festival, 2076.

"Nepal is culturally rich with multi-caste, multi-language, multi-culture and multi-religion. May this festival bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to all Nepalis," he said in a message of best wishes today.

"Each community and followers of religion have their own original cultures and festivals. These festivals have been playing an important role in establishing unity and fraternity among diverse communities of the country. It is our responsibility to protect and conserve festivals and cultures of the country," reads the message of greetings.
