CARDIFF, Wales, July 2: Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl first in the fifth and final one-day international against England in Cardiff on Saturday.

England has already won the series with a 2-0 lead ahead of the last game at Sophia Gardens.

Rain started to fall at the toss, and bowling first appeared to be the obvious choice for Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews.

Sri Lanka made one team change, with left-arm seam bowler Chaminda Bandara to make his international debut in place of Farveez Maharoof.

England made two changes: James Vince comes in to open the batting for Alex Hales, who has a minor back injury. Seam-bowling allrounder Chris Jordan replaces spinner Moeen Ali.
