GALLE, Aug 6: Dilruwan Perera took career-best 10 wickets to hand Sri Lanka a crushing 229-run win over Australia in the second test and an unassailable 2-0 series win on Saturday.
Chasing 413 to win Australia was bowled out for 183 in its second innings as the match ended inside three days.

Perera returned six for 70 and had a match haul of 10 for 99.
After winning the toss, Sri Lanka made 281 in its first innings with Kusal Mendis top scoring with 86. Australia was bowled out for 106, helped by a hat-trick by left-arm spinner Rangana Herath.
Sri Lanka made 237 in its second innings, with Perera also starring with the bat with a top score of 64.
Sri Lanka won the first test by 106 runs.
