Speaker Sapkota inspects federal parliament building under construction

KATHMANDU, August 6: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Agni Prasad Sapkota visited the construction site of the building of the federal parliament at Putali Bagaicha, Singha Durbar, today to inspect the work progress and directed those concerned to complete the work ahead of the schedule.

KATHMANDU, August 6: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Agni Prasad Sapkota visited the construction site of the building of the federal parliament at Putali Bagaicha, Singha Durbar, today to inspect the work progress and directed those concerned to complete the work ahead of the schedule.


On the occasion, Speaker Sapkota said that the construction is making progress and stressed the need for coordination with the parliament secretariat and the other parties concerned to resolve the daily obstacle. He also said that he would take initiative from his side to vaccinate the workers involved in the construction.

According to the construction company, 32 percent of the work has been completed so far. Stating that the progress is also moving according to the schedule, the construction team requested Sapkota to manage vaccines for over 100 workers.
