South Indian actress Sonu Gowda, aka Shruthi Ramakrishna, is the latest actor to fall prey to a cyber-attack. The private photos of the actor, which were making the rounds online, were recently aired on some news channels, putting her in a very stressful situation.
At least three intimate pictures of Sonu with an unidentified man have been leaked online.
Adding insult to the injury, the channels which aired the private photos of the actress claimed that she was with the son of a politician. However, the starlet rubbished the allegations and said that the man in the leaked pictures is her husband, Manoj Gowda.

Talking to a news channel, Sonu, overwhelmed with emotions, struggled as she tried to respond to the questions. She said that the leaked pictures were the handiwork of people who wanted to see her suffer personally and professionally.
She also hit out at a section of media for airing her private pictures, adding that soon she will call a press conference where she would talk about the incident in detail and share what is her further course of action.
Sonu said that she has already filed a police complaint in connection with the leaked photos. However, the source of the leak –whether pictures were hacked from her online accounts or stolen from her personal gadgets — is still unclear.
In 2008, Sonu made an impressive debut in Kannada film industry with Inthi Ninna Preethiya. Later, she played important roles in several Tamil and Malayalam movies, including Best Actor, where she shared screen space with superstar Mammootty. She has also played a pivotal role in actor Jiiva’s upcoming film Kavalai Vendam.
According to reports, Sonu is currently shooting for one Kannada film and three Tamil films.
