Souls of my city: Whistling with authority
Needless to say, traffic police don’t have the liberty to back off from their duty. 28-year-old Chitwan resident Bharat Pariyar has been diligently serving in the police force since 2009.
He says, “I guide vehicles to ensure smooth commute. My whistle provides me the extra energy to work. I interact with the drivers via my whistle. It's been nine years that I started working as traffic police. I am proud of my profession.”
