Souls of my city: 70 years of togetherness
Krishna Maharjan was 12, and his wife Asha Maya Maharjan 8 years old when the couple took their matrimonial vows.
“We didn’t know the meaning of marriage, and us living together. Rather, we grew up like friends,” remembers the 82-year-old Krishna Maharjan.
He continued, “My wife does not talk that much. However, she knows how to express her love through food.” The couple runs a grocery store in Pinchhen, Patan.
