Som, Chhopel into semis

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: The semifinal lineup of the Nepal Open Snooker Tournament held at the covered hall of National Sports Council, Tripureshwar concluded Tuesday.

Som Lama will meet Chhopel Lama and Bikash Shrestha will vie against Bikash Maharjan for a place in the final.

In the quarterfinal frames played Tuesday, Som overcame Prabin Shakya in 5-2 frame, and Chhopel saw off Jay Maharjan 5-1.

Similarly, Bikash Shrestha edged past Deepak Magar 5-2 and Bikash Maharjan edgd past Raju Kapali in 5-2 frame.
