SOFAJ Nepal honors journalists
KATHMANDU, Feb 25: The Society of Fine Art Journalists (SOFAJ) Nepal honored three journalists and a senior artist/writer amid an event organized at Nepal Art Council, Babermahal on Friday. This is the third edition of the award ceremony organized by SOFAJ Nepal. The award felicitates journalists and writers who have been dedicated to the field of fine arts in different media.
This year, senior artist/writer Gahendra Man Amatya received SOFAJ Nepal Baristha Patrakarita Samman, while journalist Shiba Tamang from Gorkhapatra and Timothi Aryal from The Kathmandu Post were feted with Narayan Bahadur Singh Lalitkala Patrakarita Puraskar 2074.
Similarly, Rohit Rai from Nagarik received SOFAJ Laxmimaya Kumale Smriti Lalitkala Patrakarita Puraskar , each award carried a purse of Rs 11,111.
