JAJARKOT, May 31: Satellite GPS collars have been installed in four snow leopards in Dolpa-based Shey Phoksundo National Park.
According to the national park sources, four leopards, including two in the last year and two this year, have been tracked and fitted with a satellite-GPS collar.

The endangered snow leopards were collared as per the decision taken by the Ministry of Forest and Environment on September 10, 2018.
Officiating Chief Conservation Officer of the National Park Gopal Khanal shared that two snow leopards were fitted with GPS collars in 2020 and two others on May 16, 2021. It was under the leadership of the Department of National Park and Wildlife Conservation and National Nature Conservation Trust and technical and financial assistance from the World Wildlife Fund.
