Smart Club holds 532nd session

KATHMANDU, April 10: Smart Club, a youth-run, youth-led platform that provides public speaking opportunities to open-minded individuals, organized its 532nd session at King’s college, Babarmahal, on Saturday.

This sister organization of Youth Initiative has been making contributions in the fields of debating, public speaking and entrepreneurship. On Saturday, three speakers -- Rochak Bohara, Pranav Kafle and Pranav Raj Ghimire -- made intriguing speeches on diverse sexual orientations of Nepali youth, poeticization of mental disorders and importance of gender roles, respectively.

The speakers not only voiced their opinion, but also were criticized and commended by the commentators. The members in the audience consisted of SEE-appeared students, high school students and undergraduate students.
