LAHAN, Sept 7: Siraha has reported yet another coronavirus-related death.
A 55-year-old man from Mirchaiya Municipality of Siraha died at around 11 PM on Sunday while undergoing treatment at Provincial Hospital, Janakpur, according to Dr Jamun Prasad Singh.

He was admitted to the hospital at 4 AM on Sunday. "He was brought here in critical condition. Oxygen level was only 50% in his body," Dr Singh said. He was on a ventilator support.
The man was also a cooking gas trader. He was suffering from high fever and blood pressure. He was in home isolation in consultation with doctors. As his health condition deteriorated, he was rushed to Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital in Karjanha on Saturday. His throat swab sample was collected and sent for COVID-19 testing which came positive.
Chief of Mirchaiya Municipality Shrawan Yadav said that they are making preparations to dispose of the dead body as per COVID-19 protocols.
