KATHMANDU, Aug 16: Diageo PLC, along with its official distributor, Global Trading Concern Pvt Ltd, on Tuesday launched two new single malt whisky -- The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 Years Old and 18 Years Old.

Both these new variants are in addition to the current offerings of The Singleton of Glen Ord brand, a press release issued by the company said.

"The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 Years Old is a  rich, complex and confident Singleton with hints of melon which reveals itself at its own elegant pace," the release said.

Similarly, The Singleton of Glen Ord 18 Years Old is less spicy, more mature, slightly darker in colour, and deeper in flavour than the 12 Year Old.

"It has aromas of walnuts, polished antique oak lead into a whole bowl of dried fruits followed by ginger biscuits, and a honeyed sweetness cut by cleansing freshness," the release added.
