Baburam Thapa is the senior vice-president while Mohanraj Bhatta and Padam Timilsina have been elected as vice presidents. Mukundalal Nakarmi, Nabin Uprety and Rajeshwarman Sthapit have been elected to the post of general secretary, secretary and treasurer of the association respectively.

Pravin Uprety, Kabindra Tandukar, Purnasingh Bohara, Niru Darshandhari, Ramesh Paudel, Sandesh Manandhar, Bishnu Narayan Gwachha, Sudesh Vele, Mohammad Khalil Haluwai and Suraj KC are the newly elected members.

The NGA formed in 1980 had not conducted a single election so far. Nepal Olympic Committee President Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan was appointed the third president of NGA in 1995.

The NGA was dissolved by NSC, the apex sports body of the nation, last month, accusing them of running the association without holding a single national competition.
