KATHMANDU, April 15: Sindur Jatra, a centuries-old tradition, is being celebrated in Bhaktapur today.
Sindur Jatra is one of the major festivals of Bhaktapur and is celebrated on the second day of the Nepali New Year.
As a part of the celebrations, people carry chariots of Hindu gods and goddesses and smear red vermilion powder onto each other.
