KATHMANDU, Nov 6: Four persons were killed and seven were injured in the accident that took place at Fikkal Rural Municipality Ward-4, Turkibesi in Sindhuli district.
The ill-fated Bolero jeep (BA 7 Cha 3695) en route to Khamsang Besi from Khurkot met an accident at 8 pm on Sunday.
Sindhuli Jeep Accident: Five dead, eight injured
The deceased have been identified as Amar Bahadur Darlami, Ram Bahadur Baral, Dip Bahadur Magar and Nar Bahadur Balampaki of Fikkal-3, said District Police Office,Sindhuli, DSP Binod Sharma.
6 injured have been rushed to local hospital, Umarjib Hospital nearby for further treatment. The condition of injured Dhan Bahadur Pulami Magar is critical, according to DSP, Sharma. He is now under treatment at BNB Hospital, Lalitpur.
The driver of the jeep is now under police custody. According to Police official, accident took place while the gear was not working at the speed.
