KATHMANDU, July 13: Armed Police Force(APF) has deployed a water drone to find the missing buses in Trishuli river.


The APF has started water drone and Sonar to find out the missing bus and passengers.


DSP Shailendra Thapa, co-spokesperson of APF, said that a search operation has been resumed by using a sonar camera through pipeline inspection.

“We have deployed a water drone along with 9 divers to find the missing buses and passengers,” he said. 


According to the Home Ministry, 28 divers including those from Nepali Army and Nepal Police have been mobilized for the search operation. Nepal Police and Nepal Army have also been deployed for search.


On Friday morning, the bus (Ba Pra 03-006 B 1516) on its way from Raganj to Kathmandu and another bus (Ba Pra 03-011 B 2595), en route to Kathmandu from Guar was swept into Trishuli River by landslide in Simaltal, Bharatpur Municipal-29, Chitwan.


The search teams had used magnets and iron rods to search the missing buses and passengers on Friday. However, their efforts were proved futile.
