PALPA, July 26: The Butwal-Tansen, and Tansen-Ramdi road sections along the Siddhartha Highway were blocked due to landslide since early this morning.

The road sections were obstructed as the landslide debris fell at Jhumsa, Siddhababa, Charchare, Kerabari, Ramdi, Pipladanda among other places.

Due the landslide, three houses along the road sides were buried and other four houses are in high risk of landslide as well. With the disruption of the road sections, vehicles to and from Arghakhanchi, Baglung, Syangja and Pokhara were stranded.

District Traffic Police Office chief, Praveen Acharya informed that three dozers were mobilized to open the obstructed road sections. RSS
