Shrestha, Majgaiya from RPP register their candidature for the post of mayor and deputy mayor of KMC

KATHMANDU, April 25: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidates for mayor and deputy mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City from Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have registered their nominations today.

Artist Madandas Shrestha and Binita Magaiya have registered their candidacies for the post of mayor and deputy mayor, respectively.

Candidates from different parties have reached their respective District Election Office today to register their candidacies for the local level election to be held on May 13.

The RPP has decided to nominate Asta Maharjan as mayor of Lalitpur Metropolis, Swarnima Shakya as deputy mayor, Girish Giri as mayor of Birgunj Metropolis and Bina Jaiswal as deputy mayor. The party has also decided to nominate Shankar Kharal as the mayor of Pokhara and Ranju Sen as the deputy mayor.
