KATHMANDU, Sept 9: A Shree Airlines flight that took off from the Tribhuvan airport for Surkhet has made an emergency landing.


At 8AM today, Shree Airlines flight SHA 121 took off for Surkhet. After a technical issue was detected on the aircraft, the crew immediately made an emergency landing at the Tribhuvan airport.

During the landing, the aircraft was briefly stopped on the runway. According to sources at the Tribhuvan International Airport, the aircraft experienced a ‘nose wheel lock’ issue.


This was Shree Airlines' first flight. The landing has now been completed normally.


According to the company's market manager, Anil Manandhar, the passengers have been sent to Surkhet on another flight.
