KATHMANDU, Nov 5: A helicopter of Shree Airlines met with an accident at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Saturday morning.
TIA Spokesperson Premnath Thakur told Republica Online that the AS 350 B 3 chopper met with a minor mishap while taking off to Jiri, Dolakha.
The wings cover of the helicopter hit a mud mound while taking off to bring a patient.
Thakur added that the chopper resumed regular operation from this afternoon after a safety team of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and Shree Airlines engineers carried out a safety check.
