Short circuit led to fire at a shoe factory in Balaju: Police

KATHMANDU, August 10: According to the police, a fire broke out in the One World shoe factory located in Balaju, Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.

Dinesh Raj Mainali, Superintendent of Police at the District Police Range, said that the fire broke out at 11:45 AM, due to an electrical short circuit. The factory was run by one Shree Ram Poudel.

Mainali said that the details of the damage are yet to come.
