When it comes to the hottest bods in Bollywood, there’s no doubt that Shilpa Shetty Kundra will feature in the top five. At the age of 43, she can make 20-year-olds envious of her super-toned body. But maintaining this amazing level of fitness hasn’t been easy for the actress. She recently opened up to a daily about how she manages it.

To begin with, Shilpa said that one has to keep changing one’s fitness routine according to age. As you age, your focus must be on being more agile, and training the core better. Also, if there’s a lot of work pressure, you should make it a point to stay calm by practising various breathing and meditation techniques.
Nutrition, of course, is also key. Shilpa follows a key roles when it comes to her diet. Firstly, she doesn’t eat any raw food post 6 pm, because the body needs to produce acid to digest them. And since an alkaline environment is said to prevent the growth of cancerous cells, she avoids having them at night. Secondly, Shilpa never misses breakfast, and has also eliminated all forms of refined sugar from her diet.
Going on with her fitness tips, Shilpa said that it’s important not to cheat on your body. She also pointed out that stress makes it tougher for people to lose weight, and hence, it’s very important to tackle stress effectively. The actress said that Yoga has helped her strike a balance, and it has also made her more positive.
Last but not the least, the actress said that it’s important to give your body adequate rest. So, no matter what, do not miss out on a good night’s sleep.
