Pop stars Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello who were in a relationship for almost two years have called it splits in a joint statement. Both have taken to their respective Instagram handles to reveal the same.

The statement went on to read, "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. we so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward  - Camila and Shawn"
Mendes and Cabello had begun dating in July of 2019, and had also delivered a song together titled ‘Senorita’. The announcement came out days after Shawn and Camila shared lovey-dovey pictures from ‘Halloween’.
