Kathmandu, once renowned for its tranquility, now bears the disheartening title of the world's most polluted city, its skies choked with noxious fumes that betray the essence of life itself. Within the shadows of this environmental crisis, another scourge festers—the silent anguish endured by millions of young Nepali individuals compelled to seek their fortunes in foreign lands. The dire grip of economic desperation has transformed tens of millions of Nepalis into modern-day indentured laborers, toiling in distant corners of the Middle East and Malaysia. Behind the glittering veneer of progress lie stories of exploitation, where the aspirations for a brighter future have been callously shackled for a significant portion of the nation's youth.
