Sharing Love Nepal provides stationary items to 150 students of Shree Jalpa Secondary School

KATHMANDU, June 28: Sharing Love Nepal, a Kathmandu-based group of youths have provided stationary and sports items to the students of Shree Jalpa Secondary School, Sindhupalchowk.

As the third project of Sharing Love Nepal under the initiative ‘Hamro Bhawisya Lai Hamro Saath’, the group distributed the necessary stationery and sports items to 150 students on Sunday. The group is also set to provide yearly scholarships to five talented students of the school.

“Being a community school, we also have students from low financial backgrounds. The help provided by this group has been really beneficial for our students and our school as whole,” said Shiva Prasad Nepal, principal of the school. He said that the school will always remember the help provided by Sharing Love Nepal as students have been able to continue their studies smoothly.

“The sole purpose of Sharing Love Nepal is to serve the needy and contribute collectively to the society, including orphanages, elderly homes and individuals with low-income in every possible way by coordinating with various companies”, said Samir Shrestha, Founder of Sharing Love Nepal.

According to Shrestha, the source of income for conducting these programs is an individual's self contribution, contribution from family and friends, the sponsors and other interested donors.

Earlier, the group has provided stationary and sports items to 70 students of Shree Jana Bikash School in Sindhupalchowk along with free oral check up camp in collaboration with UNR Smile Creation Dental Clinic. The group has also provided daily essentials to Manjushree Old Age Home under the initiative ‘Aama Lai Hamro Maya’.
