Seven, including five from same family, injured in microbus accident in Chitwan

CHITWAN, June 30: Seven people, including five from the same family, were injured in a microbus accident in Chitwan.

CHITWAN, June 30: Seven people, including five from the same family, were injured in a microbus accident in Chitwan.


The accident occurred at 6:30 this morning on the Narayanghat-Mugling road section, downstream of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, when the driver of the electric microbus (Ba Pra 06-001 Ja 0182) traveling towards Mugling lost control over the vehicle.

Among the injured are five family members of 42-year-old Ekraj Bhattarai from Bharatpur-9. Bhattarai's wife, Nirmala Bhattarai, their 10-year-old daughter Eliza Bhattarai, 8-year-old daughter Yanusha Bhattarai, and 4-year-old son Anuj Bhattarai sustained injuries. Chitwan police have reported that their condition is stable. They are currently receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur.


Additionally, 50-year-old Ram Prasad Chapagai of Khairahani Municipality-8 and 21-year-old Nabin Bhattarai of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4 were also injured. Chitwan police informed Republica that the condition of the injured is moderate to normal.
