Set yourself free

Set yourself free

We’re all trapped in a maze. Some in the dark paths of their pasts while some in the misty, shiny mountain of the future. The pain of living in the now haunts our mind as though the present has lost its own presence in our lives.

The carved walls of peace shriek the sounds of the noisy world we live in. The silence invades us deep inside and belches out moans of pain. The chit-chat and the clamor and clatter has been so accustomed to the world that the peace is like the blue moon which is adorable once in a while but fades away for a long time. The beds don’t feel calmness of our sleep but the bellows of our hard life. The trapped person in a room can’t stand the pain of hollowness. Our modern society is deeply affected by the mere superstition of gone history. The great nations hallow not peace but power. Why?

Past haunts, future troubles but look at the present. The beautiful sky is right above you, the soil where you were grown is beneath you, the people who love you are around you. Look at the bright sun rather than the dreary night. Look at the people whose eyes glistens with joy when they see you rather than the ones who hate you. Look at the ground and feel where you stand in your life and appreciate everyone and everything for helping you come this far. The truth shall not set you free at once but it will eventually. The truth lies in now, not yesterday nor tomorrow. It’s in this very moment that we are blessed with power to make a choice to leave our fears behind our insecurities apart. The moment of bliss that you’re all waiting for is nowhere but right with you, inside of you. Believe in yourself and put step towards a journey in the righteous path. Bent and crooked this life is, but it will always lead you home after a thrilling adventure and you will have your whole life to share your story, your own life; not gloat about, but share it with passion.

Clear eyes sometimes convey darkest of impressions. Beautiful things turn ugly in the time of adversity. Best of friends abandon you when the times are tough. So, think clearly and learn from your mistakes, don’t dwell upon it. Improve yourself with the photographs of past and be the best you can be. The only thing you can do is prepare yourself for the worst and be ready to face the future. The time is running, the clock is ticking, the train has left the station and the river has joined the sea. Nothing will change those facts. But even if the time is running, you can persevere and get one step closer to your dream. Even if the clock is ticking, you can live the best you can. Even the train has left, you can hope that the right train will pick you up somehow. And even if the river has joined the sea, eventually the river will become clouds, the rain will pour and the river will flow again.

Close your eyes and feel this moment, feel your body, feel the deepest part of you. What do you want? What do you hear? Do the past really matters or do the future really paralyze you? You will finish your journey, you will hear your calling and you will follow your dreams. But the past, the present and the future all lies within you, seek it, find it and believe in it. For there was never a time when everything was perfect and there never will be. The perfect time you’ve all been waiting for is now.

See, everything is so simple once you get out from the maze; once you start living in the present. That’s your absolution. That’s your path. That’s your freedom. So, think yourself out from the maze and be trapped no longer. You can always set yourself free.
