Nepali, Indian PMs jointly inaugurate first-ever cross-border petrol pipeline in South Asia

PM Oli and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi jointly inaugurated the Motihari—Amalekhgunj cross-border petroleum pipeline via a video conference from their respective offices on Tuesday afternoon. This is the first-ever cross-border petroleum products pipeline launched in South Asia.

Likewise, the Chinese foreign minister also invited Deuba to visit China during the meeting that lasted for half an hour at a hotel. Now, it costs Rs 107 for a liter of petrol. Earlier, consumers would pay Rs 109 for a liter of petrol. The NOC also lowered the price of diesel by Rs 2. Earlier, consumers paid Rs 97 in Kathmandu.

During his stay in Nepal, FM Wang and his Nepali counterpart Pradeep Gyawali discussed on various bilateral issues and cooperations between two countries. On the occasion, Nepal and China signed three separate deals on bilateral cooperation.
