KAILALI, April 10: Dhangadhi Team Chauraha has registered a sensational victory over the Kathmandu Goldens by 1 wicket in the Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL-2)  at Seti Zone Police Cricket Ground on Tuesday. The sensational victory happened when Samsad Sheikh who appeared in the crease with two balls to spare and six runs required to win hit a winning shot: a six, sending the team to the final.

Chasing a target of 128 runs, Dhangadhi Team Chauraha managed to meet the target with one ball to spare. Rohan Mustafa scored 33 runs, the highest for the team before being bowled by Lalit Rajbanshi.

Sunny Patel, Rashaid Khan and Shahab Alam took 2 wicket each  and S Bhati and Lalit Rajbanshi took 1 wicket each for the Ktm Goldens in the match.

Shankar Rana was awarded with Man of the match.
