TAPLEJUNG, June 4: A police Head Constable working at Area Police Office Tellok in Sirijunga Rural Municipality of Taplejung has been found dead.
District Police Office, Taplejung said that Head Constable Deepak Shah Shankar, 41, of Udayapur's Triyuga Municipality-7 was found dead. Police said he was returning to his office from Sidingwa Rural Municipality after a security patrol.
According to the Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Taplejung Police Inspector Kushram Karki, Head Constable Shankar had informed that he would come slowly on his way back from Mehele in Sidingba. However, he was later found dead in the course of a police search.
According to the police, the deceased was suffering from Chhare disease. It is said that the body of the deceased has been examined and prepared to be handed over to the relatives.
