KATHMANDU, Augu 17; The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) today.
After a meeting held between the Board and Ministry of Education, the board published the highly awaited results of examination. "The Board has published the results of Grade 10 students as per their internal assessment marks submitted by their respective schools," said Prof. Chandra Mani Poudel, the chairperson of the Board.
Following the concerns from all levels, the examination board had been sending proposals to the Council of Ministers through the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC), asking for an approval to publish the results.

"A total of 482,986 had registered for the examination, but the education board received final marks of only 472,078 students from their schools," said Paudel.
According to Poudel, data of three students have been sent for rechecking as their data sent by their schools did not coincide with the data registered at the Board. "We have sent them back to their respective schools to recheck them," he informed.
The SEE examination which was scheduled to begin earlier on March 19 was postponed on March 18 due to the pandemic.
The examination was cancelled for this year as decided by the cabinet meeting held on June 10. The conclusions made in the meeting had then directed the board to issue certificates based on the internal evaluation forwarded by respective schools.
Moreover, although the Grade 10 results have been published, the government has directed colleges not to open registration for Grade 11 until further notice.
