SEE examination begins from today

KATHMANDU, March 24: More than 400,000 candidates across the country are appearing in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) that started from today.  

According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, 475,003 candidates will give their 10th-grade exam. Of them, 236,445 are boys and 238,558 are girls.

The examination will conclude on April 4. This year, the exams are being conducted as per the federal structure.  

Actress Karishma Manandhar is also appearing for the SEE examination. Manandhar is giving her exams at the Bijaya Smarak Secondary School, Dilli Bazaar.   

GANDAKI PROVINCE TO PROVIDE SANITARY PADS FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES

The girl students appearing this year's Secondary Education Examinations or SEE in Myagdi will receive sanitary pads as well, while they get the question papers for the examinations.  The Social Development Ministry of Gandaki province is to distribute sanitary pads to the girl students.

The province geared to do so to ensure that the female students do not remain absent from the exams due to menstruation.
