KATHMANDU, August 6: The government is administering the second dose of Vero Cell vaccine to people aged 55 and above across the country from today.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), people who are older than 55 years and previously received the first dose of the vaccines from July 6 are eligible to receive their second dose.
Meanwhile, the MoHP has stated that it has made arrangements to provide electronic vaccination certificates to people going abroad. The certificate will consist of a QR code to make the reading easier. One should register online and upload required documents. In case of inability to fill the form online, the service is available at National Ayurveda Research and Training Center, Kirtipur.
