TULASIPUR (Dang), Sept 18: A school teacher was killed and his wife injured after a bus rammed a motorbike near Dang's airport last night.
Dev Bahadur Dangi, 54, of Jaspur of Tulasipur – 19, who sustained serious injuries, died in course of treatment this morning at the Rapti Zonal Hospital, according to Area Police Office, Tulasipur.
The bus (Ra 1 Kha 784) heading towards Tulasipur from Shitalpur rammed the teacher's motorbike (Ra 1 Pa 7814).
Dangi was a science teacher at Amar Higher Secondary School. His wife, Pushpa Dangi, has been taken to the Teaching Hospital at Kohalpur for further treatment.
Area Police Office, Tulasipur Chief, Krishna Prasai, said the accident was caused due to bus driver's inebriation. The police have taken the bus driver under control and impounded the vehicle. RSS
