KATHMANDU, Nov 29: The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the government to make necessary arrangements for the treatment of medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, who is in police custody on electronic transactions related to crimes.

A division bench of Justices Mahesh Sharma Paudel and Nityanand Pandey issued the order to this effect on Wednesday. The SC made the order public only on Thursday.
The same bench had rejected the habeas corpus petition, meaning Prasai will remain in custody until the new order. Police are also investigating whether he is involved in collecting money from various traders in the name of Indian gangster Bishnoi.
