KATHMANDU, Jan 31: The Supreme Court has issued an interim order in the name of the authorities concerned to adopt smoke and dust minimization methods while constructing roads in Kathmandu Valley.
A single bench of Justice Ananda Mohan Bhattarai on Monday issued the order to the Department of Roads, Melamchi Drinking Water Project, Kathmandu Valley Development Authority and Kathmandu Metropolis.
The order also includes the need to carry out immediate inspection and monitoring to see whether the smoke and dust has been minimized.
