Saraswati off to Japan

KATHMANDU, Aug 14: National volleyball team spiker Saraswati Chaudhary has left for Japan on Sunday to take part in a month-long training.

Saraswati, who palys for departmental giant Armed Police Force (APF) will train in University of Tsukuba until September 15.

Saraswati got the opportunity to train in Japan under the initiation of Japan's volleyball coach Sunjiyana, Armed Police Force's IGP Durja Kumar Rai and former national volleyball player Jay Narayan Chaudhary. Japanese coach Sunjiyana will bear all her expenses during her training period in Japan.
