Santoshi Shrestha wins gold for Nepal in 10000m race (with photos)

KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Nepal's Santoshi Shrestha has bagged a gold medal in Women's 10000m race.
She completed the distance in 35.07.94 minutes while silver medal-winning India's Kavita Yadav took 35.7.94 minutes. Bronze medal winner Sri Lankan Nilanthi Lanka complete the race touched the finishing line in 35.59.02 minutes. 

With this, Nepal has won the first gold medal in middle distance running.
