KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Sanima Bank Ltd is launching chip-based Visa debit, credit and USD debit/travel card on Thursday.
Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the bank said that the chip-based card is more secure when using in ATM and POS terminals.
According to the bank, unlike traditional cards, chip-based card creates a unique transaction code every time during transaction which protect the card from frauds.
The bank also plans to issue US dollar credit card for its customers in the near future, the statement added.
