KATHMANDU, Oct 19: The Kathmandu District Court (KDC) has extended the judicial remand of Sandeep Lamichhane, the suspended captain of Nepal's national cricket team, by four more days.
The KDC on Wednesday gave permission to the police to keep Lamichhane in custody for four more days to investigate that rape charge against him.
After the second extension of time for five days was over, he was brought to the court today.
Earlier, Lamichhane was taken into custody from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on October 6 and was taken to Gaushala Police Station on the charge of raping a minor.
