DHARAN, Mar 12: Samjhana BK has won the title of first ever Mrs State 1 on Sunday. As many as 35 married women had participated in the competition that was held at Sabha Griha, Dharan on Sunday. The competition was organized by Woman Worth Group. 

The title winner is a mother to an eight-year-old baby girl. Along with crown, she bagged a cash prize of Rs 100,000, gift hampers and a certificate of appreciation. Similarly, she also won the title of Best Smile.

Kaanun Karki, 23, and Nira BK, 30, became the first and second runners up, respectively. They bagged a trophy, certificate and crown each along with Rs 70,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively. Karki also won the title of Mrs Personality and BK won the title of Mrs Talent. Karki is a mother to a six-month-old daughter whereas BK has two daughters, 12 and eight years old. 

Aashma BK won the Mrs Photogenic title, Rekha Rai won Mrs Catwalk, Pratima Shrestha won Mrs Discipline, Rashmi Tamrakaar won Mrs Beautiful, Manju Lawati won Mrs Friendship and Tanka Gurung won Mrs Active title in the competition. 

Chairperson of the competition, Mira Dhamala; Chief Guest at the program and Deputy Mayor of Dharan, Manju Bhandari; main judge and former Misses Nepal, Sugarika KC; and Event Director, Jyoti Rai handed over the prizes to the winners. 

After being selected in the auditions, the participant were trained for three weeks in different subjects before taking part in the competition.
