Sambhujeet Baskota and his team performing in China supporting VisitNepal2020
Veteran musician Sambhujeet Baskota is all set to perform in China for ‘One Belt One Road’ international folk festival that is scheduled to be held on October 18 to October 20. On the invitation of Beijing Dance Academy, Baskota alongside his 10 other artists, has gone to China to represent Nepal on Thursday.
About his visit, Baskota said, “I organized various cultural programs in Nepal coordinating with Beijing Dance Academy. That eventually led to having a good friendship with them. They sent us an invitation. That’s why we are performing in China.”
According to Baskota, the festival will have hundreds of artists performing from various provinces and different parts of the world.
The performance will support the goal of VisitNepal2020, said Baskota. “We got an opportunity to give the performance that will help foreigners to know about the Nepali culture and the country.”
