KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Samajbadi Party Nepal has expressed deep condolence on the demise of India's Former External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.
In a condolence message to Bharatiya Janata Party leader Jagat Prakash Nadda, Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav stated that he was deeply shocked to learn the sudden passing away of Swaraj. "Swaraj was not only an eminent leader of India but also a good friend of Nepal," Yadav said in the message.

Yadav lauded Swaraj's contribution in taking bilateral ties to a newer height during her tenure as External Affairs Minister of India.
"Swaraj is admired in Nepal particularly with the role she played to revive the Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting in 2014 after a gap of 23 years," read the condolence message.
In the message, Yadav has expressed profound condolences and sympathies to Bharatiya Janata Party and bereaved family members at this hour of grief.
"May almighty provide fortitude to her party members and the bereaved family to bear this unendurable kiss and pray for the departed soul in the eternal peace," read the message.
