LALITPUR, Feb 6: Sajha Yatayat is going to ply 20 new deluxe buses outside the Kathmandu Valley.
Speaking at the 10th General Assembly of Sajha Yatayat Co-operative Union on Friday, acting Chief Executive Officer Mahendra Raj Pandey said that preparations are underway to operate 20 new buses outside the Kathmandu Valley.
The buses will be plying Kathmandu-Baglung, Kathmandu-Birjung, Kathmandu-Janakpur and Kathmandu-Beni routes. The cooperative public transport service provider is to operate new buses after 6 months.
Sajha is going to add new buses to its fleet from the profits it made from operating buses and with the support of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The annual income of Sajha Yatayat which operates altogether 46 buses within and outside the valley is said to be Rs 90.87 million.
