KATHMANDU, Dec 7: India is dominating the medal tally at the ongoing 13th South Asian Games being held in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Janakpur.
Among the participating South Asian countries, India is at the top spot with 194 medals including 93 gold, 68 silver and 33 bronze. Host Nepal, with 131 medals including 43 gold, 30 silver and 58 bronze, is in the second rank.

Similarly, Sri Lanka has bagged 154 medals including 29 gold, 49 silver and 76 bronze so far. Another South Asian nation Pakistan has secured 78 (20 gold, 25 silver and 33 bronze) medals.
Likewise, Bangladesh, with 77 (5 gold, 19 silver and 53 bronze) medals, has placed itself at the fifth position.
The Maldives has bagged only three medals including a gold and two bronze.
Bhutan, which is at the bottom of the tally, has not bagged any gold yet. However, it has clinched five bronze so far.
The SAG that kicked off officially on December 1 has witnessed a number of sports including cricket, volleyball, football, wrestling and swimming and among others. The mega sporting event will continue until December 10.
