KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The 13th edition of Safal International Marathon is set to start in Pokhara on February 19. The city marathon, sponsored by Safal Dairy Nepal, is being organized by former marathon players in the tourist city of Pokhara.

Both Nepali and foreign runners will take part in the tournament that will carry the slogan of ‘Run for health, run for Pokhara’. The first edition of the tournament was held in 2002. The marathon will include different categories including 42.195 km men, 10 km women, 5 km boys, 5 km girls, 400 m wheelchair men, 100 m wheelchair women, 100 m blind, and a ‘run for fun’ category for everyone.
