Ruling parties discuss bringing RSP back to the govt: RPP Chairman Lingden

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Chairman of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party(RPP) Rajendra Lingden has said that efforts are being made to bring the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) back to the government.


Talking to media persons after the High Level Political Mechanism meeting on Sunday, Chairman Lingden said the issue of bringing RSP in the government was discussed in the meeting at the prime minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Lingden said that there was no discussion about the presidential election during the meeting. He said that there was an agreement to review the actions of the government and continue cooperation among the alliance partners during the meeting.


Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, High Level Political Mechanism Coordinator KP Sharma Oli, RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and RPP Chairman Lingden, among others, participated in the meeting.
