KATHMANDU, Jan 5: The central committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party scheduled for January 9 has been postponed to January 29.
A meeting of the NCP's secretariat held at the Prime Minister's Official Residence in Baluwatar took a decision to this effect, according to PM's press coordinator Ramsharan Bajagain.
Maoist Central Committee meeting postponed till Thursday
The central committee meeting has been deferred owing to the National Assembly Elections scheduled for January 23. "The party has decided to concentrate on holding the NA elections for now. The central committee meeting has been rescheduled for January 29," Bajagain said.
